Silverwood Trip

We took the kids on an overnight trip to Silverwood Theme Park, in Coeur d'Alene ID, this summer.  It's Garfield themed so that was an immediate hit.  It's a lovely park that is well lain out and with plenty to do...so much so that we never even made it to the water park attached to it.  We plan on going there again next summer for a 2-3 day stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Oregon Coast this year.  Grammie even flew in from PA to join us, which made it an even more special family vacation.  We stayed in Newport, OR and found some wonderful beaches (especially Nye Beach), a great aquarium, and got to explore tidepools and see lots of sea lions.
