Angelina Ballernia Camp

Laura is spending this week at Ballet Camp at the local dance school.  It is 2 and 1/2 hours each day and she is loving it!  They dance, sing, snack, do art, and have story time each day.  It's so darling to watch her from the viewing area as she's there...her eyes are glued to the teachers and she works really hard to get all the dance moves right.  I suspect that we will be enrolling her in classes in the fall.

Ben has been enjoying it as well...he's been getting lots of one-on-one time with Mommy.  Donuts, park, pool, and a trip to the little local museum, what more can a boy ask for?

Here are some photos and videos of our week so far:

Happy 4th!

We had a lovely 4th...full of fun and excitement!  The day started out with Rob and the kids enjoying the sidelines of the annual Grand Old Fourth Parade in Pasco collecting all the candy they could grab while Mommy skated in it with her roller derby league.  We got very lucky that while it was definitely warm out it wasn't such a scorcher that it was unbearable...it was a lovely day.

Later that evening we made our way to Clover Island where Daddy's band, Fallout, was rocking the night away until the fireworks start.  The kids loved it as they so rarely get the chance to be at one of Rob's shows.  They got to spend the evening dancing and giggling with friends right under where Rob was standing on stage.  Then after they show ended and the gear was packed away we popped our lawn chairs up on the stage and watched the fireworks over the river.

The kids were so tuckered out they didn't even make it off the tiny island before passing out.  :)
