Laura's birthday party

Laura had an awesome time at her birthday party.  It was at Chuck E Cheese (as usual, lol) and we pretty much spent the whole day there since all the kids were having such a blast.  Here are some photos from the party as well as a video of Laura in their birthday "Ticket Blaster" machine:

Frog and Toad

Ben's class did a reading of Frog and Toad today after school...quite cute.  They did a lovely job if you ask this Momma!

Laura is 4!

Happy birthday, Sweet Baby (Big) Girl!!

Laura had a lovely 4th birthday.  The day started out with snuggles in bed with Mommy and Ben during which Ben gave Laura the gift he chose for her (a Polly Pocket doll).  Not long after that Daddy got home from his morning errands with hot coco and coffee from Dutch Bros for everyone and cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven for breakfast...he even had a bouquet of flowers waiting for Laura on the table.

Laura promptly gushed to Daddy about the gift Ben got her telling him "You have to see what Ben got me, Daddy, it's so beautiful!".  Quite adorable.

Then finally (finally!) we set her free to open the packages she had been so patiently waiting to tear into full of birthday presents from the grandparents.  After that Ben and Daddy were off to school and work respectively and Mommy and Laura set about their day.  They had lunch and playtime at McDonald's, some shopping, and a trip to the library with Ben after school...then dinner at Applebee's per Laura's request to end the day.  Not too shabby...
